Life on Dawn Creek
It has been two months since we moved out of the 601 and into our home on Dawn Creek. When we moved in it seemed like we had so much space but we are already starting to feel as though we're outgrowing our 3 bedroom home. It's amazing how much "crap" (in Ashley's words) we have accumulated over the last three years.
Now that we're all settled in, we thought we would share pictures of our new home for those of you who haven't had a chance to visit us yet.
The Library
When you first enter our home, you are immediately enter our favorite room in the house, our library. The left wall is lined with bookcases showcasing some of our favorite titles.
On the right wall you'll find Louis' (our Beta fish) home.
The Living Room
Off of the Library you'll find the Living Room, where we spend most of our time cuddling with the pups.
Lady Belle and Parker have their very own nook where we keep all of their toys. The corner shelf by the window keeps their very first teddy bears safe from being beaten up any more. How adorable is Parker's teeny tiny teddy?
The Kitchen
The Hall
A hall off of the library leads to an office, the Master Bedroom, the Fan Cave and our laundry room.
Elle's Office
The first room off of the hallway is Elle's travel themed office. Oh...and no, you eyes aren't deceiving you, that IS Cricket you see in the picture above. Cricket LOVES the new place and no longer spends her time in hiding. She can usually be found snuggling with the pups in the Master Bedroom or napping in the office window. Who would have thought?
The Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom is the one room in the house that isn't exactly finished. We haven't hung curtains or drapes up and there's only a few pictures on the walls (not pictured). It's slowly but surely coming along.
The Fan Cave
The last stop on our tour is Ashley's Fan Cave or "The Dallas Room". The room is decorated with all things Ashley; the Dallas Cowboys, Chipper Jones and her cameras/photography relics.
Well family, there you have it. A photo tour of our new home. Can't wait for you to see it in person!
