It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (Threw up all over the house)

Pssst... here's a sneak peek at our Christmas decor. The first thing we set up each year is our Christmas tree. We had every intention of putting it up on Thanksgiving night but Elle's Grandfather passed away the day before Thanksgiving and the family had to make an emergency trip to New York.

After an 18 hour snowy and wet drive through 10 states and Washington, DC, Elle came home and immediately wanted to put up the tree. Our tree is a hodgepodge of ornaments that represent us and our life stories. Our ornaments range from our favorite football teams, our travels, our hobbies, our accomplisments and our babies.

Years ago Elle began collecting Christmas ornaments from the countries she has visited. In January we visited Turks & Caicos, Aruba and Bonaire and brought home these ornaments to add to our collection.

Lady Belle and Parker got new ornaments as well. We're still on the hunt for ornaments for Cricket and Ricochet.

Other new ornaments we acquired this year include a family ornament, a Florida Gator ornament from Elle's Spirit Buddy and 3 new ornaments that help tie in our Industrial Farmhouse look.
