Swim Family Christmas- 2015
There's nothing quite like Christmas at the Swim House. Presents are piled on top of each other like Tetris cubes, tucked away in every corner. The eggnog (both traditional and laced) is ever flowing. Trays of delicous cookies are scattered about and the delicous smell of turkey fills the air.
Christmas morning, we woke up early to meet the family over at the Swim House. We opened a few presents before digging into eggs, bacon, sausage and our Christmas Waffles (cooked with a recipe passed down from the mid-1800's). We put the rest of the festivities on hold until Olivia arrived in the mid-afternoon. We had a great time popping ribbons, tearing paper and revealing our new treasures. Everyone truly outdid themselves this year. We received so many wonderful gifts.
After presents we all sat down for a fantastic dinner. We were so stuffed from dinner and exhausted from the days events that Ashley even passed up dessert, which says A LOT! We had a wonderful time spending the holiday with some of the people that we love the most.
