Spring on Dawn Creek
Our back yard has come alive with the sights, sounds and smells of spring. Parker, Ricochet and Lady Belle love sitting at the windows watching the cardinals and squirrels visit our new bird feeder. We've named our new cardinal friends George and Laura and the squirrels are called John and Jackie.
This year we're trying our hand at something new; gardening! We planted our very first vegetable garden in the corner of our lot. We're growing pumpkin, spaghetti squash, yellow squash, tomatoes, green bell peppers, sweet peppers, strawberries, green beans, green onions and onions. We're also growing various kinds of herbs in our pallet garden.

We're obsessively excited about our little garden. Most of our plants started off as seeds and have already grown quite a bit. The peppers and strawberries are the only items that started off as plants.
We've already harvested our first item from the garden! Little baby strawberries!
Now...if only we can keep Parker, George, Laura, Jackie and John out of the garden...
